The Dangers of Predestination
There are both healthy and unhealthy ways to hold the doctrine of predestination. The problem is that no Christian teaching can be evaluated properly in isolation. And if you lose sight of those, then particular beliefs can really get out of balance. So there's one of my concerns in writing the book about original sin was I going to end up over stressing something that at least for some people didn't need to be over stressed. You know, somebody, a last comment, not even really along these lines, but it just comes from Karl Barth: "Jesus loves me"
