The Role of Structured Dissociation in CPTSD
The idea of structural dissociation is found in CPTSD, BPD and then obviously like DID in more severe cases. It's not just the bilateral stimulation moving the eyes or tapping or the tones I know that that's what EMDR is known for but there's all these other components too. We have to get permission from those protector parts or from the parts that really are terrified to let those more fragile vulnerable experiences or parts come up. There's just no way around it we have to spend time doing that.
