The falling price is bad for oil exporting countries such as Russia, Venezuela, Iran, and Iraq. Saudi Arabia often called the central banker of oil is still the key player in oil prices. Capitalism is not just motivated by some free market or whatever. It's motivated by the political demands and interests of governments. They're doing this at the orders of the US empire.
