The Cognitive Warfare of TikTok
The algorithm for TikTok is incredibly manipulative on some sort of unconscious subconscious level and then there are other people like where does that come down in your Schema? I wrote a op-ed about TikTok being part of a broader thing that we should be worried about which is cognitive warfare. Once you're hooked, once an algorithm can figure that out it can continue to serve up a lot of information that can shape your preferences and desires. That kind of behavioral shaping is especially at the hands of the authoritarian government or social media platforms such as Facebook.
