Why Did Zillo Fail?
Zilla is notorious for overestimating the prices of homes. The idea was they would make all cash offers, two sellers, and the price was determined by the zillo algorithm, not by a human. It really reminds me of like the companies are trying to automate everything, or scale factor,. Where they couldn't adapt to the market condit. They couldn’t adapt to p p p loans ands smaller accounts, and bookkeepers could. So if you were a small, independent home flipper, yes, maybe things were rough, but you could adapt and work around these issues that you were having.
