Vultures - Why Do You Love Them?
Vultures have not always been my favorite group of birds. An early favorite was the blue jay, because when i was out banding birds. And i just love its attitude. But vulture's, one of the real reasons that i like them is that a lot of people don't. In places like africa and india, they're severely threatened as it's been misunderstood for so longnd there've been poisoning events that have killed them off. So those functions are no longer being fulfilled. I find that really tragic, because it's this lovely part of the cycle of life.
