The Indictment of Mike Pence

Even though Mike Pence didn't have the authority to do what they were asking him to do, the goal was not to actually have Mike Pence overturn the election. It was to cause enough confusion with the electors in those seven states to have them set aside. And if you looked at the makeup of the House of Representatives at that time, there was one more state that was Republican than Democrat. That was what they saw as their path towards keeping Donald Trump as the president. Even if this doesn't work, even if he doesn't spend a single day in prison, this man should not be president again.
