Stephanie was raised in a home where we didn't have religion. She started having panic attacks about dying when she was four years old. The only thing that felt deep enough for her and meaningful at the same time was science, which is why she ended up studying life on other planets. "I wanted to say something about, well, the meaning of life," Stephanie says.
