Do You Think He's Going to Live With the Lobotomy?
I don't know if that makes sense kind of as a motivation for his decision because I don't know about enough it doesn't imply enough about what the lobotomy is really going to do to him. He may have just wanted to opt out of the pain of having to bear that reality but I think it's also because that reality implies that he is a monster and so he wants to kind of take himself out of the equation in that way too.
