The Importance of Habit in Moral Virtue

Aristotle: Virtue is twofold, intellectual and moral. Moral virtue got its name by a slight alteration of the term habit, ethos. When you instill those habits in yourself, or when others instill them in you, they become part of your character. This really is etymologically where we get the word ethics - ethical attitudes come from your character.
