Socrates: A man is moderate because of the friendship and accord of the parts. He says, a man is moderate back in book four now. It's letting the rational part rule and letting the desires not vanish or disappear. How do you discern what is good and then how you execute on that plan by marshalling your spirit to the service of your reason? That's moderation.
