The Importance of Intent in Cricket

T10 cricket really made me realize that there is no value in your wicket. You can have all the intent in the world, but if you can't score any runs, you're useless to anyone. I've seen people go through a whole tournament not scoring a run, but because they had great intent, they were picked - which goes against my philosophy. But then I just said to myself, actually, you can do that, and you can score runs at the same time, because you're a better player.
