Aquinas says that god's essence is existence, and is undivided em you know, you can't in any way divide him. I have heard because it sounds like getting very close to this right? You and i are something we also have something existence. Unicorns have neither essence nor existence. A tyraniceurous rex has neither, but did once have existence, and it has an essence.
