"You just really need to be meticulous I think maybe much more so than in general adults not that you aren't but meticulous attention to detail hyper vigilance everything needs to be weight based and size based because what do we do in kids in Peds?" "I find that we're really honing the detailed aspect of the art of anesthesia for a lot of our residents," says Dr. Bummy. 'If you're committed to and you operate with the philosophy of just be the kind of doctor that you would want for yourself or for your child or for your loved one who's on the table, then that's going to be a really good philosophy,' he adds.
