We're so glad to have you on the podcast today. I think listening to your podcasts over the last few years has just been really exciting for me as an early literacy educator. So thank you for joining us. We've been asking all of our guests just to talk a little bit about how did they get to this place? Like how did you become a reporter in the science of reading? Well it's a good question. I wouldn't have predicted it many many years ago. It was totally new to me and I was completely fascinated when these students were kind of telling me about how they kind of coped with not really being able to read the words very well.
