The Afterlife of Violence in Colombia
The idea of afterlife is to show that the violence is still ongoing in the region, even if armed conflict stopped. And so this is why I engage with this idea of afterlife, but also because my, my, my own interpretation is when you name something in terms of aftermath it seems like to be a kind of collateral effect. So what happens to the environment is never like collateral, but it's going substantial to the way war is wage. In Colombia we have very very much a military army and then you have to add the state itself which was not always protecting people are actually involved in matters of grave human rights violations. There were documented cases of how the state also engaged in a dirty war
