I Don't Like the Idea of Chosen People
I don't like the idea of chosen people because I find it there's something wrong with the idea that if there was a creator created some people he didn't choose. But my sense is that we are better off considering this and declaring anything about any racial group special, especially if it's one you belong to. Smacks of arrogance or hubris or something. And that means that basically the amount of hazard per era that Jews have faced has created a kind of ability to survive in all kinds of extreme circumstances.
