Coaches and athletes still recommend an 80-20 split right in terms of traditional modded intensity base cardio whatever you want to call it. 20% high intensity intervals to optimize performance now that's in athletes who are often training 30 or more hours a week. I would suggest maybe utilizing a bit more high quality high intensity and intermittent exercise but again it depends on total training volume yeah he says.
