The Different Types of Glucose

In fruit, we see both glucose and fructose. In grains, we see only glucose. Fiber reduces the rate of absorption of both amylops and amylopectin. And so you end up with a lower glycemic excursion no matter which it is (amylos or amylo) But I'm for keeping the insulin down.
