If it's true, that's huge news. This is not about handing the offer of bin Laden, but it is about his operatives. I think anybody would honestly argue that President Clinton paid enough attention to Osama bin Laden. He was apparently, and it's becoming more apparent, negligent in addressing the threat of Islamic terrorism. In retrospect, we'll be seen as strengthening bin Laden.
