Germany Reunited After 45 Years of Division

On October 3rd 1990 Germany was reunited after 45 years of division. On September 15th 1990 Germany promised to contribute a $2 billion aid package to the Gulf effort. I think there's a strong argument to be made that Germany should have been broken up after World War I and then not allowed to reunite. If we are serious about preventing them from grabbing at the reins then they just can't be allowed to be one country. They're just too powerful so they probably should have broke it up after WWI.
