Meditation

Meditation is not about feeling good, it's about experiencing what you're feeling with equanimity. Try to soften, be non-judgmental, be with the experience as it is. That's a practice. In science they call this distress tolerance. And they know that we can build our window of tolerance from sitting with what we're experiencing. The root word for the etymology of the word courage, it means of the heart, but it actually means the seat of feeling.
