Is the Visible Church Infallible?
The idea of papal infallibility is that God prevents the pope from ever forcing us to choose unity or orthodoxy. So if we can trust that we can have full unity and that won't come at the expense of heresy, then infallibility has to be true. There's no logical way around that. I think I sort of talked backwards into that seven different ways, but hopefully it's clear what I'm trying to say.
