The Biden Administration's Conduct in Afghanistan Is One Dimension of What's Wrong

The military had lost control of the situation in Afghanistan. That government didn't have the confidence of its people. And if maneuvering 2,000-odd American service persons is enough to cause the complete implosion of a government that we've spent trillions of dollars supporting and constituting, then you didn't have much infrastructure there to begin with. We have to be prudent and thoughtful about the kind of massive projects that we take on from a foreign policy standpoint.
