All aspects of sexuality are part of the ego trying to use these false associations in the mind obtain pleasure, which is the opposite of pain. And it's tough to bring the two together because there's such an entrapment of the mind into the belief in the body. The ego, course, does not want this brought into awareness, because the ego wants to perpetuate itself.
