Is a Set a Logical Construct?

A set is just a collection of things, gut cause i'm trying to visualize. It's not an object that you can like, draw a circle around and right? And that becomes difficult when that thing is infinite. A but generally, the items in the set, when you talk about mathematics, are all mathematical constructions which mean ther are very precise logical definitions on how they're created.
