Women's Medical Role in the War on Drugs

Many of the women who took on medical roles in the war did come from middle class backgrounds. And so they would have easily been read as middle class and especially urbanite women by a rural refugee or a rural origin soldier. So that was the perspective i had. I was trying to think through their eyes like, how would a young farm boy have experienced these women in roles that they had never seen women play?
