Nehemiah, Chapter Eight, Verse One - Genealogy
Ezra shows back on the scene in nehemiah chapter eight. We haven't seen him in the book of nehemiah yet. Some suggest that he either went back to babylon or set me back to shushan capital of persia. He re established the law, he showed them godly sorrow and and helped them work sort things out as far as their marriages outside the covenant. And maybe now it's only with the completion of the wall and a new sense of self that he comes out to do another round of reformation.
