How Radio Carbon Dating Can Help Prehistory
Archaeologists are able to ascribe dates to objects and events based on two criteria, known as relative dating and absolute dating. One of the most common methods that helped date much of what we have spoken about this episode comes from radio carbon dating. This forms our current fundamental understanding of events in prehistory. We also see a similar picture develop as metal working started making an appearance which would eventually lead to the Bronze Age.
