Do You Shoot Vertically or Horizontally?

I've been working on all the commercials that are asking me to shoot vertical because everyone's on their phones. So you're having to now start thinking about different composition that's being framed vertically instead of horizontally. It really depends on what you're showing and what you're trying to get the emotion across, right? I'm not sure I want to shoot a whole feature on a vertical, wide screen frame, but it'll be interesting. Think about it.
