The Power of Stuffing Past Experiences

Once we start to open Pandora's box and get into our trauma, this is going to kind of unstuff some of the feelings and experiences that we have worked so hard to stuff in the past. The flashbacks are coming. The dissociation's happening. The repressed memories are flooding back. We're slowly letting some of the air out of it. That air can mean memories float up to the top. Flashbacks happen more often because we're putting our souls back in that position. But then your therapist is going to help you organize all of those things and put them back neatly so that it's not so scary anymore.
