Jesus wants us to use relationship as an opportunity to open our hearts up and communicate more fully. The ego doesn't even know what commitment is, it's so impulsive that it hasn't been taught the word. So you have tgo through a series of commitments including diet, or it could be with exercise, or it can be relationship commitments. In the end, it's a commitment in the mind. But while you believe you're a body, then you have to use the symbols that you believe in.
