The End, but Not the Means
I think that in a certain way of loving, I mean, you mean unselfish love. This is difficult to talk about because love happens in time and you have to struggle and think and plan and do things for somebody you love. But it seems to me you have to try. The future is continuity of the past, modified through the present. It's a movement. And there is no future unless I continue. Is there an end to that? You mean as there is an alternative state of being? Yes. Ending this whole movement of becoming, struggling, achieving.
