The Role of Environmental Impact Assessments in Development Projects
Environmental impact assessments or EIA's are basic requirements for most development projects in most countries. But unfortunately, we see that this isn't done very thoroughly in most cases. I've also looked at cases in Laos since obvious Asia where a hydropower dam was being built and indigenous people living in the area were also affected.
