The Business Cycle Is Dead

Top business leaders were quoted as saying there is no natural law that says we have to have a recession, and i don't see what could happen to make a cyclical down turn. These quotes are ncent of and looke, no less silly than some of my favourites from 19 28. There will be no interruption of our present prosperity. I believe this process and the reverse process that eventually causes growth to stall out, will go on forever. No one knows when the turn will occur or how far the correcting leg will go, but the odds are against anyone who says the business cycle is dead.
