The Singularity and Machine Intelligence

The two singularities are different. The economic singularity requires different solutions to the logical singularity, but they both require the application of a lot of our talent. Soat with economic singularity, we need to be watching carefully to see whether machine intelligence, automation, does throw people out of work, permanently. Or whether we do succeed in creating new jobs, or varieties on existing jobs, which the machines can't do. And i think the other thing we need tobe doing is to er do thought experiments with different types of economies.
