Powell's Justification for a Commodative Monetary Policy in the Face of High Inflation
Powell: Kanes would say, we have an inflation problem. We need a restrictive monetary policy. What he's doing now is the opposite. Powell: The fed has been so wrong in their estimates of transitory they've been looking for these so called supply bottle to unclog all last year,. and they got it wrong all last year. Well, why should they get it right? They're on such a losing streak, why would they now win? Right? It's not that they're due. And they're still clinging to the same philosophy.
