The Generational Differences Between Conservative and Liberal Academics

I think there's a sense in which conservatives have a reason to be worried. But I think it's totally, emblationally inconsistent with their own views. The study that Eric Kaufman and his co-authors actually run and then publish in order to promote this new legislation actually shows that conservative academics who are much likelier, much likelier to discriminate against left wing academics in hiring. It's one of the reasons why the piece is so long. And part of it is because I struggle on the page to get a hold of, get a grip on the reality of student consciousness.
