"It was very clear early on that we weren't going to be able to have those conversations," Vicky says. The couple never get around to having a direct conversation about their finances, but they do end up signing a lease. It's one of the nicest places that Vicky says she's ever lived. "There's no built-in assumption on like who is going to make more money."
