I agree with reducing regulation and reducing barriers to business, but not unfettered free trade. Every single market you can think of is rigged or distorted in some sort of way. So I suppose the question is how do we use our trade and tariff mechanisms better to prefer British industry? And so I suppose for something like steel, there are obviously strong arguments for having steel safeguards.
