There's such a disconnect that there are people who are willing and able to say enough, but within organizations that aren't actually supportive of that. I have definitely cried at work in a full on corporate button down environment. And it was mortifying. People said things and because it is completely inappropriate. Now what was happening was something completely appropriate for someone to be crying. It's just somehow nobody else was. Wouldn't it be great to be in a world where we could bring our messy selves, even if that meant crying?
