I joined Citibank in 1996 right out of school. I was kind of the resident quant as well in that shop. We did make some interesting decisions during that time but it was very much a discretionary thing. So we got to see lots of interesting though and by the way also in there was the introduction of the Euro is Japanese stuff. And so I was pretty good at math and some very rudimentary kinds of programming and by that I mean like Excel formulas and really random other crap.
