i think that everything that is great about this version of wesside story has its roots in tony cushioner's script. Ariona debos is spectacular as anita. The girl can sing and dance up a storm. I'm a little shocke that no one has mentioned original anita rita, moreno herself yet,. She made me cry in her very few scenes, aslikea new version of the dock character who runs the general store in the neighborhood. And i think the caste is pretty frikin great. Obviously. We knew this going in, and she more than delivers.
