The Impossible Man Stole Artifacts From Looted Goods

God appointed Joshua as Moses' successor, after whom this book of the Bible is named. It was time to cross over the Jordan, hike up the western rise of the Jordan Valley, and venture into the land of Canaan which had long been promised to them. The Israelites soon faced defeat in battle. An impious man stole some sacred artifacts from the looted goods that had been given to God. In order to solve the problem the impious man was found, stoned, and burned. All of the objects that he had stolen were also annihilated.
