What's the Difference Between Errors and Violations?
In the days before there were tea kettles, you had to actually put the leaves in the pot. And he always points to that one innocuous sort of situation in his kitchen as setting his entire career direction. He's just trying to understand this broad range of errors and sort of work with the assumption that there must be different cognitive processes. But it can become misinterpreted by other people and turned into much more normative models of how we should think about the world.
