I think Eckhart's a good patron saint for that way of life, which is really Christ's life. One of his teachings that I have fun with are his teaching to work without a why and to love without a why. As he says, you do justice to do justice to live to live. And that is the wonderful, I think, fuller, mystical view of the world and of our our work. It does say something about our sense of dizziness.
