The Role of Nature in Personality Genetics
The way people try to disentangle what they thought were believed to be nature and nurture is through twin studies. The immediate caveat I'd make as someone that studies this frequently is that whether something is heritable or not has very little to do with whether it's nature or biology. For example, imagine the biggest cause of lung cancer, to no surprise to anyone is smoking. Now smoking is heritable and a good chunk of the heritable influences on lung cancer are through smoking. It's a really open question if you want to say that's nature.
