The key word is lasting because I think a lot of people, they confuse pleasure with happiness or fulfillment. There's many things that can give you pleasure in life. You can have a great meal, you can watch a great movie, you could make love, you could buy a cool car. But the challenge with that is that that is temporary and the dopamine wears off.
