Vanilla Ice: The Battle for Hip-Hop
A lot of white hip-hop artists got radio love where whereas everyone else did not so beastie boys did and continue to get a lot of play on the radio. They were people weren't even sure if they were mocking hip-hop at first right. I'm glad I fought that battle because it made me think about a lot of things and maybe made me overcome that and be better just as an MC. It's almost being hacky rap battle you know what I mean because he's okay but then somebody really schooled you would go this guy's great because he didn't go for the obvious vanilla ice.
