Ganying's Journey Across the Silk Road
Gan ying never actually made it to the city of rome. He reached the shores of a sea that may have been either the mediterranean or the persian gulf. There some parthian sailors discouraged him from continuing his journey. They gave him this dire warning, if you encounter ends that delay you,. It can take two years. That is why all the men who go by sea take stores for three years. The vast ocean urges men to think of their country and get homesick, and some of them die. Perhaps he was simply tired of his journey and wanted to go home.
